I like to know if there are any newb's or pro's here that every ridden the setup Hyperlite Movement 140 w/Vario Binding Boots?

I know that this claims from Hyperlite site that is a beginners board, but how good of a beginner board is it? Can it be useed later as a novie type person? Would a experience rider that can rip it be happy w/ this board for a long time? Other things like, comfort, pop, speed shred and landing I like to know also. Thanks all 4 the feed-back or shared experience w/ the Hyperlite Movement 140 w/Vario Boots.

here are some things that they said about this Movement board:

2.8” Continuous Rocker – a predictable transition up the wake every time.
Full-Length “V” Beam – consistency on landing and additional tracking.
One 1.7” Maruca Fin - the mix of a quicker release off the wake and a tighter feel on the water.
One 2.1” Sure Thing Fin – for new riders demanding the most in stability.
Wide Vented Channels – makes a faster board.

If you have been into water sports and know how to ski and what not i suggest going for something for a little down the road. Unless you are a dead out beginner with little athleticism. The last thing you want to do is buy a board for 200 to 300 bucks and grow out of it wanting a new board. With that being said i would say its 85% rider and 15% board. Hope i helped! Razz

whats up man
i have been wakeboarding for about 5 days now. i have always been good at every physical act.. i have a 140 movement and it is the stuff.
i love it.i can already jump from wake to wake and do alot of surface tricks.i cant really compare this board to another but i can tell u it is worth the money. i gave 225$ for it.i do need smaller fins it coms with the 2" they will throw u for a loop when u do surface 3" or 180s.get smaller fins.i have been tring to get some but i cant go to shop for a while. Bottom line it is a really good board for beginners.i have had a couple exp. riders to look at it and they said they would ride it. so there it is.
