Another Floating Slider Question.....

Well, we had to re-build our dock, and the twra is making us use the black floaters under out dock, so i figured i should put the styrofoam to use. Has anyone ever built a slider using this kind of stuff? Will it work? If so, How will i attach a peice of wood to it so i can put down my trez board? Any help will be appreciated.

someone made a temp slider with a canoe they found and some styraphome.

this doesnt answer your question though. my best idea to hold the styrapome on is DUCT TAPE
