ive read most of the past posts about starting pools and i plan on making a 22 1/2 foot starting pool, 15' slider, 100' main pool(havent decided what to put in it yet, another 15' slider, and the end theres another 22 1/2 starting pool/ending pool, so its all symetrical and what not, but i want to know how deep the pools should be, any suggestions?

I just made a pool and it was about 8 inches deep and that was fine. We did have a start platform at the begginign of the pool that we jumped off of so that we were never sitting on the plastic. I made a 24 foot rail out of bath board. It worked great I cut it into four 1 foot strips and then connected three to make a rail. It was nice and wide so you could slide it easy and I got the bath board for free. If you ask your local lumber yard they usually have tons of damaged ones that are no good and will sell them to you for cheap. Yours sounds awsome post some pics when your done.
