hi,

I recently started wakeboarding after my dad bought a sea doo sportster. my first question is, is this a decent boat for wakeboarding? It has 211 horsepower and is about 20 feet but none of the fancy stuff like a tower or things to effect the weight. My second question is what can i do to improve this boat without spending a fortune???

thanks

good luck... do a search for ballast or fat sacs. This is going to be your best bet in adding some wake to the boat. Also, what do you consider "a fortune"? You should be able to get a decent tower and some fat sacs for under a grand if you are serious about improving the boat for wakeboarding.....if not, just get out there and have fun, any boat is better than no boat at all!

I've ridden behind one of those sea doo boats and they're really fine as long as you weight it down. some fat sacs (as much as the boat can handle), and an extended pylon should do. if you're just beginnning anyway, you will learn with your boat no matter what. Just go and have fun!

oh man for under 4000 theres tons you can do.

-Get a zero-stretch rope $60-100
-Monster Tower or other tower $1195
or universal pylon ~$400-500?
-fat sacs

well maybe not tons but you'll be good to go with those things

but remember none of that stuff will help at all if you don't learn proper technique

have fun
