You have the ability to tack upwind, so you would just tack back and forth like a sailboat, but at a much better angle. Ideally you dont ride in offshore winds because if the wind dies you have no way to get back. you only have the ability to go upwind when you have proper wind power. If the wind backs off, you can always go downwind.
So, in general you ride in sideshore or slightly onshore wind, that way you get blown back to the same continent you started on if the wind backs off or you break something, HAHA! _________________ TONA

You need to know how to and be able to ride up wind.
Its rcommended that beginners don't ride in offshore wind, due to the extra safety issues... drop the kite or wind drops too much you will end up out to sea with a long and difficult swim back with your kit. _________________ AJ |
