anybody know if you can get rid of them after they expire? or will they go away when i get the full version?

To remove (win XP):
Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.
Find Adobe
Click the "Remove" button

DC, thanks I tried that but it gave me the same error message. After i repaired the file it let me delete it though.
