This is a shelf I made in my room. Forgot who I got the design from, but it worked out really well.
Here is my gallery of all the photos of the shelf.

If you have any questions about how I made this or anything else about the project shoot me a PM.

Hey wakeboarderdave1,
Nice job, looks good, works good, keeps things safe from "others" who wish to "clean up"

Here is a picture from your gallery for all to see easier.
To post like this, just right-click on the picture in your gallery and copy the http:// address.
Then click on Post Reply.
Then paste the link into the message area, highlight the entire address you just pasted, and then click on the Img button at the top.
And that will post the picture like I did above. _________________ So, I've got that goin' for me...which is nice! |

Awesome, thanks 89 skier.
Hyperlite Cutout on the side.
O'Neill cutout on the side.
A pictue w/ my 140 Motive on the shelf.
Just one tip, do not spray paint the thing black like I did. Didn't really have time to make sure the paint didn't run, so it looks like crap up close(see o'neill pick). I would rahter have stained the dang thing. To protect the boards from dinging on the wood I glued on some felt.[/img] |

I did not do the cutouts. A friend in my shop class who had a much steadier hand used a router to do them. Made a stencil of the logos and drew them on the boards then routed them out.
As cool as they look, I would not make another shelf. It was a long and boring process, maybe if it would have went faster I would do it again. I could give you all directions to make one, it is not that hard. _________________ RIP DLS.

I took them off at the end of the summer, for storage. Getting ready to put them back on right now, sounds like a fun thing to do on a friday night. |

Hey wakeboarderdave4, Do you have to take the bindings off or do they fit inbetween the rails of the shelf? Looks great! I like the extra shelf on top and the hooks for your other goodies! Well done!!! _________________ DL |

Yeah the paint job pritty much sucks. Wish i would have stained the shelf instead.
The bindings fit inbetween the boards even at the widest stance on a 140 Motive. _________________ RIP DLS.

Can't remember where you got the idea from!!!??? I think my idea has grown quite a bit since the last time I posted about it. Your racks look like the latest and greatest in the evolution of my original design.... Great job!
Check out the pictures on page 3 of 3 close to the top.
