yeah they do. they start getting away from the videos and stuff and start getting passes ready and try to get real comfortable with their tech tricks and get consistent. thats probably why eric ruck won the tour title becasue he is so consistent. _________________ pointless crew is so insane. |

Yo Projectely4
I always thought of the pointless posse as riders that didn't care about contests. Help me out. Tell me it ain't so. Are they really selling out and going for the gold!

I wouldn't call it selling out, the PWT is one big tight group and they know what its about, they ride for the right reasons. Its not like the $1000 most of them get makes it their bloodline.
They shorten their lines a little for competition riding, its more about getting a bag of tricks in, and its all about the technical w2w stuff like grabbed mobes. Some of them do plan out their sets and work on tricks they know will score big. I think the comps are cool, all of them look at it differently but thats ok. Shapiro and Ike and some others work real hard and ride their a$$es off and it pays. Parks goes 110% and pulls crazy stuff and either wins or takes hard falls, no in between. Some riders are stubborn and backed out of the comp scene, but I don't think there are any sellouts out there. This isn't a cash-heavy industry, most of those guys are lucky to carry sponsors right now even tough they are big big names. |
