i have a boat with a small ski pole on the back....i am able to pull some air and land wake to wake jumps...but my question is, is this small ski pole going to hold me back on progressing my air tricks? its on a cobia 21(not the ideal wakeboarding boat..but gets the job done)
If your technique is good you can still progress without a taller pylon or tower. Just focus on your edging and pop on the wake and you can still learn a lot of new tricks.
But at some time you may want a tower so it doesn't pull you down (although it's very little) and just because they look cool on boats. _________________ So, I've got that goin' for me...which is nice!
You can still progress but it is more dangerous. There is a much better chance of getting hurt when the rope is at the bottom of the boat. Get a tower, its well worth it.
