|
|
I was wondering which fat seat to get, the fly high fatseat, or the launch pad sofa?
Its going to be in a 94 Mastercraft Prostar 205, is anyone has pictures of a fatseat / sofa in their boat please post em.
Thanks

| i have asked this same type question before and got zero feedback. I was looking to see how it would fit in my 86 nautique 2001, i was also curious as to if these were comfortable to sit on and if they were real slippery when getting out on the platform. |

I have the phat sack and I like it. They are comfortable and obviously the comfort can change depending on how much water you put in it. It is long and the "legs" pretty much surround the motorbox. The sofa doesn't have the legs and I think that it weighs less. The only problem is the time to fill it up, two pumps are a must and you have to keep them dry because mold will grow on it. _________________ Calabria Boats Rule! |

| They are a good concept but don't hold up very good. I had a fat seat by fly high it lasted one season then popped the were cool about replacing it, but the next one leaked in two weeks. I talked them into giving me two fat sacs instead. So far the only problem with those was my buddy left the pump running and blew the outside shell out. The inner bladder was still fine. I would go with the sacs not a seat. Just my experience. |

I just bought a sofa. I haven't tried it in boat yet, but I did think of one advantage of the sofa over the seat. With the sofa, you can put it in backwards and have "stadium seating".
I did fill it up on the ground. It seems solid and comfortable to sit on. |

| I used to use a phatseat in a boat with an 87" beam. Fit and worked great, if I only had 3 people I turned the seat like it was supposed to be and filled it up. If I had 4 or more people I turned it toward the rider and folded the legs in. Didn't need as much weight with additional passengers anyway. |
