This is a pure opinion question on style. From the skateboard/snowboard background "slob/tindy/tailfish" tricks are considered secondary because they're lazy. But in general I think a Slob (front hand between your front toes and the nose of the board) looks better than grabbing Mute on front side spins. A Slob looks much more natural to me. Rather than awkwardly stretching your hand around your knee to grab the board between your feet for a mute (opinion). I understand how people think they can be lazy. I just wonder what the general public thinks about it. And whether or not the skateboarding/snowboarding community influenced your view.
I didn't take the time to find pics because I don't want this to be a comparison between singly 2 pictures, more on the idea in general. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

Slob looks way better because you can poke it out way harder. _________________ "Life is a funny thing right when you think you have got a hold of it, it bucks off of a double up funny and break two ribs when you bounce off the bottom of the 4ft deep private lake"

I disagree. Mutes are the harder grab, and to me, that shows more board control and looks better.
I do agree that you can poke out slob more. Same can be said of tindy v. indy, melan v. nosenchaly, etc. The poke aspect doesn't adequately sway me, though, to your side. |

loomosity, do you think the snowboard/skate scene influenced your decision? Do you think because something is harder it is more stylish? _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

mute looks better. yes my skate background influenced me(even tho i wakeboard before i skateboarded so i dont really know if i can call it a background.) and is being influenced by the original boardsports a bad thing. and secondly awkward tricks are awesome. i want to see someone do a fat stalefish tantrum. way more awkward than an indy tanny but ould look absolutely disgusting if you boned it out.
how can you poke out a slob better. on mutes you got the back leg poke and the stiffy poke(both look pretty nice.) |

I like slob because you can pull the front of the board around. Looks dope IMO. Mute looks a little contrived & unnatural when spinning. _________________ Niiiiiiiiice |

| Mute: just because you can poke something more doesn't mean it's more stylish. |
