Well i was skateboarding in my driveway ollieing over this pvc pip about 7 inches high and i fell like an idiot and snapped both the bones in my forearm.The only thing is i had done it like 50 times before.Well i just thought tell you

That sucks. Good luck with the recovery.
I was at a skatepark today and I saw a kid with no helmet fall and slam the back of his head into the cement. He ended up getting a concussion and some minor cuts.
Skateboarding is way too hard on the body.

Phil, sorry to hear about your break. Hope you recover quick & get back to conquering that pipe.

Skateboarding's a rough sport, but I think that's what makes it gratifying. All the time you spend getting thrashed & then when you finally make that trick you're stoked. I think if a trick comes easy to you you're not as stoked about it as one that you hafta try over & over to get.

Skating's great... makes you able to endure so much more pain... hell, if people kick me in the shins now I don't care... Anytime something hurts like a b**ch now I just take a breath, put on a pissed off face and the pain goes away..

amen 2 taken beatins...lol never been seriously injured from skatin but sure as hell have been beat up by concrete...sorry 2 hear bout the break dude but u'll b back on da board before ya know it.

thats the bad thing about skateboarding is that you dont have to be going big to fall and land wrong on your arm or something. i was just doing stuff off of a two foot kicker and fell and broke my wrist last year. hope it heals alright phil
