What type of camera do you have? Point and shoot or SLR? If it is an SLR get a telephoto lens, 70-200mm or 75-300mm work well. _________________

if you want some sweet alternate angles , and you have a jetski , you can always have a camera man on the back. just drive along side of the rider. BUT BE CAREFUL!! dont ever ride directly behind the rider on either side of the boat , ride somewhere off to the side. A great shot isnt worth a life you know. You can also ride directly behind the boat as the rider is going wake to wake because the chances of him/her actually stopping in mid-air and coming down right in front of you are slim to none. You just have to use your best judgement really. Dont do anything stupid like try to get directly under the rider while hes crossing the wake. leave that up to the pros _________________ "I just want something more than to come home in my cool looking SUV, sit in my king sized leather recliner and watch reality television on my widescreen plasma TV...How easy it is to care for someone when you dont have anything else..." |

You ride on a tube behind the boat while the boarder is riding....just tie tube line off lower than wakeboard line.. and keep it 15 feet shorter than board rope. Face rear....strap in. Hold the camera well, and tell the boat driver no screwing around and to beep if he/she sees some waves heading for ya. It works well. Well enuff pro photographers use that method as well. _________________ The horror...... the horror. |
