|
|
Got a 19' glastron I/O. Im not going to be able to upgrade to something better until at least next summer. So I'm going to add some ballast to help in the meanwhile. I was wondering what kind of balast and where some of the other unfortuante souls with I/Os placed the balast for the best wake. |

I fill my ski locker with a sac, and have another sac up front. Trimming up also helps out. Good luck man _________________ "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy." - Benjamin Franklin

Before I got my boat, I had an I/O as well. I put fat sacs in the ski well and under the back bench seat (total weight 1000) plus passengers. It worked well. Also, I trimmed it us a bit. I adds to the wake but the speed is much more difficult to control. Good luck! |

i put plastic milk jugs full of water under the bow seats, and some 4" concrete blocks under the rear bench seat. _________________ if I said it I meant it... if you didn't like it... too bad |

Like these guys have been saying, weight from front to back. Your goal is too prevent so much bow rise. Load up the bow and ski locker. You can still put weight around the engine but it doesn't need to be extreme. Most in the bow and ski locker. Good Luck! _________________ 2000 Glastron GX 205 V8 Volvo Penta 5.0
