What up with the TINT? looks tight. I'd like to do the same thing to my boat.

How do you think they did his? I would think they would need to take the windshield completely off to do it and the bends around the side would be tough. I have a 2002 SAN Team so taking the windshield off scares me at this point, I just can't see how they would be able to do it while it was still on the boat.

What do you guys think?

PEACE

That ride looked tight! I don't think that taking the windshield off would be that much of a hassle. Matter a fact, I think most comp inboards get shipped to the dealer w/out the windshield installed. Maybe talk to your dealer about it. But, I think most dynamite tint guys could do it w/out taking the windshield out....

You don't need to pull the glass of. You can apply it the same way you would do your auto windows. Just cut the tint backwards on the outside of the glass and then lay it up on the inside. I'm pretty sure the curve on Nautique glass is only one dimensional, so you shouldn't need to shrink it at all.

I'll let you know how much of a pain it is. I'm about to do it on my 03 SANTE... I'm gonna do it with the glass off the boat, but you could do it with it on. It will just be harder to do, but still could be done.

Actually from what I understand Nautique has started shipping their boats with the glass and the bottom part of the tower already installed. They were supposedly having problems with the parts not matching up well after delivery so they'er trying a new way.

Thanks guys, I just didn't want to take the windshield off at all costs, I'm a fag like that. As you guys probably already know, I'm not a do it myself kind of guy. I pay the guy that knows what's up so it gets done right.

Core-rider...let me know how you make out, I'm still interested in doing it so any advise from a guy that has gone through it would be great.
I've done car windows back in the day and they all came out great but that was a long time ago.
