Plane detained at San Jose airport due to SARS

The passengers and crew on an American Airlines flight from Tokyo to San Jose were quarantined at Mineta San Jose International Airport Tuesday after pilots radioed over the Pacific that four on board might be suffering from the flu-like illness known as SARS.
American Airlines flight 128 flew nonstop to San Jose from Tokyo, and arrived only five minutes late at 10:20 a.m.
The four who became ill include two American Airlines crew members and two passengers who had recently arrived in Tokyo from Hong Kong, where the majority of SARS cases have been reported.
