Hey guys, i have a pair of the LF Ultras XL and my foot size is a 11/12. I wore these bindings and had trouble getting my foot in these bindings WITH lube, but then had an incredible amount of trouble getting them out. Is there some sort of "breaking in" process associated with bindings in general, or with these bindings in particular? thanks.

What helped me break mine in was doing this: Put your bindings on your feet, and soak them in warm-hot water for about 20-25 minutes. After this, soak them in cold water for about 10 mintues and the bindings should mold to your feet. Hope this helps you.

I have a similer pair, Liquid Force EXOs and it just seems that the liquid force suction bindings dont release all that easily! My riding instrucer said when you ride in them quite a few times, they'll break in...

After wearing them a while they should be easy to get into, without lubrication.

No binding should be easy to get into w/o lube. Then the would fall off too easy.

I second the tub method!
If you really want the for your feet then you just have to ride.

put a cup a little bigger than your ankle in them when your not riding might help. Ultras are pretty hard to get out of. Stand on your board in the water, push down and jerk your foot out really fast one at a time. Thats about the best way to get out of them

I took a stab at the bathtub method, filled it up with hot water got into the bindings easily, stood in the tub for a while with no problems... i stepped out for a bit after about 10-15 mins cuz the water was too hot, when i got back in the "suction" effect kicked in and they became extremely tight around my feet and became very uncomfortable. I stayed in them as long as i could but eventually it was too painful. Perhaps the bindings are just too small? again, everything was fine at first, not sure what made the diff when the suction occured and it became painful...
