| I know this question is probably asked a lot... but I'm wondering the difference in molded fins vs. detachable ones. I've ridden a LF Trip w/ all 6 fins on it, but never a board with only molded fins or a combination of the two. What are the differences in the feel of the board? Thanks for any info. |

J7, sorry a hairy nun is such a damn tool. He's really retarded though.
If you ride with only molded fins the board feels looser.... kinda squirly sometimes. However, it is A LOT easier to do surface spins, and you don't have to worry about hooking as much on butterslides. A lot of people say that riding w/ only molded finse is better because it helps you so that you don't have to rely on fins to track propperly, resulting in a better progressive edge.
I don't have molded fins so i always ride w/ fins on.
And if u have any more questions try the search function. Sometimes it's not necessary to start a new thread as info may have already been posted about the same question. _________________
