Does anybody know a good wide angle lens for the JVC gr dx300 ?
I looked on the jvc site (dutch site), but they do not list any compatible lenses anymore. I know there should be some, but not on the website anymore.

The camera is only 2 years old, and it was the 'camera of the year' here in the Netherlands.
Unfortunately i don't know anything about it ?
what should i look for (details)?
I also would like to know, if you 'zoom in' do you get to see the edges (like a fish eye lens) ?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

For those kinda cameras something from best buy or circut city would probably do you good.

www.CenturyOptics.com might have something for you also.

look on the front of your camera where the lens would screw on and it should tell you what mm the attacment size is. (ie my vx2k is a 58mm lens. so i could go on ebay/google and just type in 58mm wide angle lens/or 58mm fish eye lens)

"Wide Angle" is basicaly like as wide as the lens can get you without making the corners of the image look curved, aka, the "fish eye" effect.

I would just look into a wide angle so you will still have some zoom capablities.

i have a wide angle .45x and it does me pretty well for smaller areas like room, cars, ect.

smaller the number wider the lens. .65x is just a little wide, and like, .3x would be fish eye to the max.

OJamesWatts, on the front of my camera it says 30mm..

so the lower the number (.10/.5/.3) the more you would be able to zoom in without seeing those edges ?

Thanks, that is good information.

anybody have a jvc gr dx300 with a wide angle lens, would like to see a picture if possible.
