I just drew these out. Its 54' long, 4.5' high and 6' wide. I have to keep it under 4.5' so it will fit on my trailer when folded. Ive never attempted an a-frame, the ramps are 17' and the flat is 20'. I'm also trying to decide whether to use barrels again of go with sheet foam 3" thich over the whole base.

Any suggestions would be helpfull and I am also going to try to sell my old slider to pay for materials-- see the classifieds

Liquid*Force*Rider, What are the lengths of the ramps and the flat area on yours and how tall is it...And can you gap it.

Go with drums. Foam is a pain I think.

17' on the ramps 20' flat top. I'm building it right now, I hope to be able to gap it OK I have never ridden an A frame before.

I have decided to go with the drums again, mainly to save weight in framing.

what if the drums leak? foam is a bit safer in that regard and its easier to tweak foam for higher/lower floatation cuz you can cut or add, but if u had a cheap source for drums that would be good. i have a cheap source for foam so i'm kinda partial to it (free @ a local marina)

I can get drums for 5 bucks each, and I install valves into the smaller hole and leave the larger hole open. Then when I float my slider or kicker all I have to do to adjust the level is open the valve and allow water into the drums.
