GOT A KARMA 111 REVIEW

I just got mY KARMA 111 from http://www.stateamind.com -- have not riden it yet but i have a couple questions on it. Why get the 111:?: For wake to wake stuff or is for a larger rider? I am 6ft 200lbs and think it will be a good fit. Have you had any luck w/ shuvs on it? ollie'z enhanced by the kicktalez? Come on Alton Lake warm up!

-From what I have heard the enhance kicktails help for a significant pop on ollies, shuvits...etc . I have heard that it is not a very good wake to wake board. I sure youll be able to progress on it, so enjoy.

i used to ride the gate. i liked it alot. i thought it was good wake to wake and out in the flats. had really good pop. i remember i was ollying buoys and stuff. but its slippery as hell

not that it matters since you already bought the board, bigger sizes on wakeskates usually reflect what style of riding you are going to do. bigger boards for wake to wake smaller boards for tech. since the boards are already so small a couple inches wont make that much of a difference for bigger riders. ive landed shuvits on the old gate which was bigger and dont really think the kicktails do that much.

you quickly found the way to get people to not like you. i still dont udnerstand why you want a review for a board you own. also dont be so lazy. look up some reviews on the gate and karma on here and wakeworld.

yes I know a couple people who take the foam off there board and put grip on... including myself (not on a karma tho)

foam is only good when you are really worried about eating stuff and rippin up your legs... but really it hardly ever happens...

go to wakeworld.com and look at the reviews or this site

pros- It wont fall apart very fast
cons- the nose and tall are way to skinny

hey Chester Vortex- is The Headless Chicken cool? im a little confused on that so if you could clear it up with maybe another 3 posts i would probably get the picture.
it might have been a good idea to ask about the board before you bought it. do your homework, use the search and go to the gear tab at the top of the page.

as somebody w/ the Karma 105, I can tell you first off, the sizing is based on the cemter size not including the steps/kicktails, the 105 is withina cm of the old gate at 114, and the 111 is friggin gigantic, like a 120 or so, the tails are just fine, not to narrow like the gate, the foam is better than the gate, but still mediocre, the kick tails help on ollies, but you dont need that much kicktail, I chopped my gate waaay down, the kicktails are an inch or less, and they still work fine, and imo, the gate works better for wake to wake than most boards due to it's wakeboard like characteristics, for tech stuff it's not as good, unless you chop it down, but thats not for the faint of heart, I hope that helps
