I've only been riding for about 1 season. I've noticed most wakes people are behind aren't quite the same as mine. I have a 23' shallow draft low-profile boat whose hull shape is about the same as many of the older v or direct drives, but it's an I/O. I realize I won't ever get the quality wake of an inboard but I've seen decent I/O wakes. Problem is the wake always craps out at the lip and gets white and crusty so it's hard to get a pop, to help the driver turns slightly to the side of the wake that will be getting used. Any idea why this happens and what I can do to fix it? Thanks!

Well, what length are you riding at? Also if you put more weight in it and play with the trim it will clean it up...

too much weight in the rear will steepen the wake and cause it too roll over.

Try speeding up a couple MPH. You would be amazed at how much it will clean up.

combined with this

should fix your problem, or at a minimum lessen the severity.

look in WBM like k-dub said. also if you want a good I/O wake you got to put a lot of weight in the boat.
