Can you guys watch this and tell me what I am doing wrong. This is after 2 1/2 months of riding. I can clear the wake but I can't get enough height. I am guessing that my edging is off but I can't figure out how. I am 5'11" and riding at 65 foot length. The boat is a Glastron I/O with a tower and 500lbs of lead. I bought a new tige this year and am hoping it will help a little with my progression once I get to use it. Any help would be great. Thanks.

your flattening off in the trough before the wake, hold your edge ALL the way to the top and stand tall.

1 (lightest cut) to 10 (hardest cut). You should be at 10 at the middle of the wake. And hold your edge all the way up the wake.

Thanks for the reply. Looks like I am flattening out eh'? Well, I will try to hold the edge longer and see if that helps. Thanks.

Roger, All the way.

When I get to the top of the wake, do I want to push down on the board like I am trying to sink it under water? I have been told by people to push down with my legs. Others have said "Stand Tall". I have heard it put multiple ways, but I am not sure which one is more accurate. When I think "Stand Tall" I think stand straight up. When I hear push down, I think push my legs down like I am trying to sink the board.

Try this- cut out only about three feet and lock out your knees then lean into your edge and hit the wake, you should feel the pop of the board as you leave the wake( rememer to keep your knees locked). then try it with knees bent and feel the difference. you have to time it right from the seated position on your cut to the standing position as you leave the wake. hope this helps.
