Sick, Sick, Sick! That batwing at about 1:35 is hot! I think that is about the coolest looking trick. Keith has great style

Hey Angi, Ipod Minis just went down in price to $199, since they now sport a color screen and 6G rather than 4. Just picked up a pink one for my wife for our anniversary. Now I just need to get her an Icelink for our VW so she can play it in the car.

Glad to hear you guys had fun in Tahoe...snow has been great this year I hear!

Eric

I drive a VW as well....tristan had an 'ITrip' on hers..is that different than the 'icelink'? which do i need??? oh and of course i want a Juicy Couture carrying case!!!!! Mr. Green got to 'accessorize' (sp)??? Laughing

tahoe was a blast! i just finished the video last nite...pulled an 'all niter' good stuff there!

IceLink allows you to hook up to the changer connection in your trunk. FM modulators, which the iTrip is one, can be sketchy and are not as clear a signal. Icelinks also happen to be a bit more spendy, but if you like your music it's the way to go.

I think 4G is plenty...I have a closet full of CD's I never listen to, I can't imagine wanting to shuffle through that looking them up on my Ipod! I'm pretty fickle in the music department.

My bud Mike, and I will be in Orlando for the weekend of the 17th. We're hitting OWC and the Supercross at the bowl. Don't suppose you guys will be around? Lucky for us also, OWC is opening their Mini moto track that week too!

E--SIIIICK! mini moto track!!!!!! LUCKY! 17th..hmm....I know this weekend is the first BLISS tourney (Gator) stop. I've got Gracie and J* and a couple other friends coming that next week after your here Crying or Very sad bummer!

yeah, I guess the 6G is like 1500 songs..and I, like you am pretty finiky with my muzak. its rare that I like a whole cd. VERY RARE. but 1,500 songs should be plenty for me. like right now I am listening to the same 15 songs over and over in my car....I got hooked on some that J* introduced me too out in NV..so I still feel like I am driving thru the mountains (at top speed) Laughing on ice ..... Neutral ...really close to the car in front of us.... Shocked

Wink haha..Jen!

ok, where can i find this "ice link"? i did look into the I trip and the other one that charges it as you go...but if its 'sketchy' I don't want my tunes skippin! I don't have a changer in my trunk, I have a CD/MP3 player in dash, just my sub and amp are in the trunk...so where would I hook my 'ice'? Thanks for all the info E!

have a blast in the O.

I love my new 6G ipod. Angi....you should be totally fine with the ITrip. I don't have any problem with reception. A good station that works for me is 99.1 fm.

Of course I got pink! The blue one was pretty cool too. Definitely get a protective case right away. My clear one was the Agent 18 case. You gotta get the matching Juicy case though Wink

I got a 20GB iPod for Christmas, I LOVE it. I wanted a pink one, but my dad didn't want to buy me a mini because he said they didn't hold enough songs Rolling Eyes LOL, I was like dad, I doubt I fill this 20GB one up. But its cool, I just need to get one of those iTrips so I can play it in my car.

Laughing but it will DEF. have a JUICY case Wink yes, I am a label whore for Juicy! Shocked sad...but true.

Hey Angi, sorry for the delay in the response, I have to get this stuff at work you know! If you don't have the factory stereo then the Icelink is not going to work for you. Icelink allows you to control the Ipod using the factory radio which is quite cool. Plus it plus an Ipod are cheaper than the Phat Noise Mp3 that VW sells.

Monster makes a pretty good FM modulator, and I think it charges the Ipod too. Go to the iPod lounge on line, there are many retailers there selling the parts you want but I didn't see the juicy case! I think what you really would want is a FM modulator that lets you pick the station you tune to. When you do that you can pick a frequency that has no other stations near it, so you get a very clear signal. Most modulators make you tune to the 88.x or 107.x, and in our area those frequencies are used a lot so you get a lot of static.

Your other alternative is if your radio headunit has an AUX input on the front or rear. The clarion in my boat has one on the front that was used when portable CD's were the hot item and you could plug it in that way. I use my XM radio that way and will likely do the same with Cheryl's Ipod.

Also, if you order the iPod online from Apple, you can have it engraved with WJG or wakejunky or something like that.

Angi

I bought you a walkman tape player today=its no ipod but it has some cool features. Retro is so hot right now!
you can transfer all your cd's to tapes and play them in the walkman.
the tapes don't skip and you can re-record over them!
it's bright yellow w/ black trim and it comes w/ 10 blank tapes
it's sweet
Oh ya I forgot to tell you I got me an Ipod.
