Did you put it on the Fred Miranda B&S forum too? It's free and gets a lot of interest. I recently sold my 300 f2.8 there and got what I paid for it plus no Ebay/Paypal fees! _________________ Rich Dykmans |

| RD, yep but there are three other Mark II for sale too. I am looking to get a 1DS because I could use the extra resolution and I hardly ever take advantage of the speed or iso performance of this camera. |

| BIGMAC, I wish you would have been selling a month ago... I would have picked it up in a heartbeat. I already have all of my new Canon gear now, tho... |

BIGMAC, it took me a few days to get used to the controls and twisting the zoom and focus the other way, but not nearly as hard as I thought. It's taking me the most getting used to for switching the focus area... in all honesty I prefer the thumb-selector on the Nikon for doing the same. Also it seems like the Nikon has more functions directly accessible from buttons, like formatting a card. All I would have to do is hold two buttons. On the Canon, it takes a few more seconds to do it thru the menu.
Other than that, I'mvery happy with the system. The extra resolution gives me a lot of flexibility, and allows me to do more cropping in the image if I want to. The weather sealing also is very reassuring, as I've already had both 1D's soaking wet, without a hitch. |
