hey guys i liked the old version 10 times better, this one sucks, too many other websites use this kind of board

and you have to click to another page to post a reply that just takes too much time and that will equal less posts

Just take some time to get used to the new board. You'll probably like it better once you find the new features. And even with the extra page for replying, it's still faster than the old one.

the one thing i dont really care for is having to hit reply before you can even beggin to type. The reply box should be on the bottom like the older version. Other then that i will just have to get used to the new one.

From a user's point of view, it is a little more confusing at first because it has more options and is laid out a little different. It just takes a little while to get used to it and then you will soon see that it is much better.

From an administrator/programmer's point of view, this one has so much more to offer that it doesn't even compare to the old system. This forum system is here to stay (unless Pat crashes the site again! HA!).

And what is the big deal about the colors?? We can set up this system to allow each user to define their own theme. That may come in the future. For now, just pretend that the colors are different.

I like the look of the old board better, it seemed kinda cleaner, this seems like somthing a kid would draw (no offense or anything pat), but i do like the new features alot better so overall its a big improvement

also there shouldnt be seperate pages if it gets too big , just like the old one it should just be one big page

are you implying that i am stupid? i was just stating the fact that it is more convenient that it used to be all in one page. the load time doesnt matter to me because i have dsl. another reason i like the old way better

Once people start loading pictures up it will save time and will load much faster. If you remember whne they had post your boat pic i have high speed and it was still a while till it loaded completly.
