Ok i broke my femur wakeboarding july 28, 2001 and had a surgery to put a titanium rod and 2 screw in my femur to hold it together. I then had a second surgery to remove one of the pins because it started backing out and was very painful. I now am going in for surgery #3 to fix it hopefully for good. This time they are operating on the bone because it has not grown together properly. I'm tired of having surgery every 6 months!!! sorry for the rant.... _________________ "Lift it, so fat chicks can't climb it" |

I feel for you just started walking after surgery in Oct. I will go for my second surgery in April (to remove a screw in the growth plate in my foot) I got the pins out without surgery. Do what the doc tells you or regret it later. |

i came down in the flats from a toeside 360 and apparently i hit the only piece of wood floating in the lake. It broke right in the middle, very unusual as i was told by the ER doctor. Bad times all around. I rode this past summer without any problems, but towards the end of the summer it started to give me some pain again _________________ "Lift it, so fat chicks can't climb it" |
