Tripod mounts are universal for video and film/digital camera, unless you have some crazy unique camera. However I will say that is a big friggen tripod (over 70"). Do you need one that big? _________________

I'm going to throw this out here just incase you're really interested in getting a good tripod. Regardless of your camera, whether a $5000 XL2 or a $500 Sony, you'll want a good fluid head and sturdy tripod legs. The $15 tripod is not worth your money (probably .99 cents in china….)
Do a search on eBay for "Bogen Tripod". Bogens are not cheap, but for a reason! They are durable will last you a loooong time. If you're lucky you might find a good deal on a used fluid head/leg combo for under $100 (roughly the same price if you bought the $79 from the store)
