Computer Problems...

Ok, could really use some help here. I moved my computer from my work to my home, and I switched up all the server stuff, and put it on my hard drive, ect... For some reason, as soon as I got it home, it takes like 15seconds to open up "My Computer" no matter what. Wether I'm opening something in photoshop, or just trying to get to the drives through start. Everything on the comp is just fine and fast, except for this.

Now, on another computer at work, we have a folder full of pictures(downsized ones) that used to load quickly so we could flip by pictures, but now it does the same thing, and takes several seconds just to bring one up, or the folder. I have no idea because none of the other items on the computers are slow except for those, so it's not just a bunch of crap slowing down the computer.

Any help would be appreciated!

something like this kind of happened to my computer, it may be a trojan and if you dont know what that is (not saying your dumb lol) its a type of a virus. if you have any kind of virus scanner do a full scan of your whole computer and see if that works. it worked for me.

do you have any mapped network drives on that machine...If so it is probably trying to connect to those. If you remove all of the mapped drives in My Computer it will speed up when you connect to it.
