Dumb Question?

Excuse me if this is a dumb question but is there anyway to clear your hard drive without having to take it to a shop or whatever because my computer is soo slow and i have no important files on it or anything.

just use the operating system back up disksthat you were given with your computer and re install it..one of the first questions will be something like "do you want to compleatly re install everything (this will wipe your drives) " click yes...and let it do its thing

run ms-dos or type command in your run thing if you have windows and type format c:/s and type y when it asks if you really want to format your drive or not and this will totaly wipe out everything. you will need your to reinstall your os (operating system ex. windows 9 Cool

then you should be set

I cant find the cd's that reinstall xp and word and all that JamesWatts, with your method do you have to reinstall everything
