| There are a couple of boardfinders on the internet. I know www.wakeside.com has one of them. Someone else can probaly help with the other. If I were you I'd use the boardfinders on the internet, then ask some people what a good local boardshop is and using the information from the internet go to the local boardshop and talk boards with them. The local boardshop could possibly let you demo before you buy or trade in the board you do buy if you want to upgrade or don't like it. If the local boardshop won't beat internet prices (they probaly will) order it on the internet. Good luck. |

I'm in the same situatio0n . 6'3 220# .
beginner only rode like 5 times. My sons are 6'1 165# and 5'2 165#. 16 and 11 y.o.
I bought a LF search 143 to start . I'm also trying to get a LF substance 142 ,so in a month or so after 25 hours of riding we can have the board ready to progress. From what i understand , and correct me if i'm wrong the binding seems to be more imortant so went with the parks xl size. Since we have kinda flat narrow feet, and i've heard that
some peoples feet at size 11 move around alot in the xl size i am going to buy a back up parks or temet binding size large. Demo the board if at all poss. ,but that can be expensive at 35 dollars a pop to demo unless you don't mind paying high price dealer board prices after you demo. I bought a new search on ebay for 100 bucks.. Good luck be safe and watch those knees..... |
