Hey I have been working on riding switch so I can get ready to do 180 ollies and 180s with out wake. My trouble howvever is switching while riding.I seem to have it pretty good going from switch to normal, but from normal to switch is giving me trouble. Any tips??? I'd apreciated it alot!!! And also some tips on getting it done quicker... when I do get the switch it takes me a while a then I end up at the other flat when I do it. Thanks in advance... Very Happy

Ya that would be the next step in my progression. To do and Ollie 180 but I wanna become comfortable with the switch before I do.

You should probably make sure you can ride switch well.....also if you are riding with fins thry taking them off ....it is a lot easier to do waterspins and stuff without fins Laughing

Fins shouldn't make a difference mate. Just get your weight back on your heels more. Leaning back slightly may help this. Try to keep head up, and dont break at the waist.
A good idea to get comfortable is to come up as normal and instead of turning into regular stance ride sideways on the board at whatever speed feels comfortable. You can then add pressure to one foot at a time and practice going from side to side. It will build your confidence up. Keep the speed low and practice practice practice.

Ya I already know how to ride switch, so that won't be a problem. With fins there is not much I can do. My fins are only .8" and on top of that my Byerly 137 has fins made in the carbon fiber so my board will edge natuarlly even without fins.

Ben thanks for the advice I'll be sure to try that out this weekend.

Hehe in Miami, Fl wakeboard season never ends!!!!!! Cool
