| Have any of you been to the Wake Board camp in Florida? Is it good for beginners or should you wait to go until you know more about the sport and can ride pretty well? Any oppinons or advice would be awesome! _Beach247 |

| i havent been to the wakeboard camp but i went to west coast camps and it would definitely would be good to go as a beginer. this would help you set up good basics and make learning tricks easier, later. if not you will develop bad habits and go to the camp and have to unlearn them. |

Correct! most people show up at camp looking to learn a specific trick, this is not always good. When they take their first set you can tell they can ride but have lots of bad habits that will make it hard for them to learn X trick. You can talk to them until you are blue in the face about working on some basics first and then maybe they might be ready for the X trick. It never fails, "naaah I just want to learn the HS backroll, that's all I care about!"
OK this is how you do it but to be honest you don't have the skillz to even come close. It's fun seeing the beating some of these kids take, they get up with a smile and try again. must be nice to be young dumb and full of cum....
Like mentioned above some times it's better to not develop bad habit's in the first place and learn the right way. So NO you don't need to know a few tricks before you go to a camp. Coaches like green horns cuz they don't need to spend a ton of time breaking the student of bad habits and just teach them the proper way right from the get go. my 2 cents. _________________ PEACE

you would learn a lot more at O'Town Watersports with Glen Fletcher. Promise. They really do everything TWC says the do... taping, tramp training, etc. Plus you don't get that really campy atmosphere which is nice. Check it out: www.otownwatersports.com _________________ SlidingGlass.com
