all u people sayin the east coast is icyer then west is an idiot. It gets warm in the mountains to and freeezes just not as often and if u complain about the east coast y dont u come ride the midwest now that is were u will truly find the iciest stuff around.

MRAleader, I still disagree. On the smaller slopes maybe. Every slow around here is ice completely unless it just snowed, which has happened a good 3-4 times this year. (I'm talking south east though, dont know about the north)

thats one thing i hate about some people, and yes mainly snowboarders. A lot of them are too out of control.
I disagree with you on the learning to snowboard thing, i thought skiing was a great deal easier to learn than snowboarding. but thats just me

Grew up on the hills and was also a skier turned snowboarder. I enjoy snowboarding much more, and I agree with you on the rules of the slopes. However, one thing that makes me hate skiers much more than snowboarders. And I'm sure everyone out there has gotten this one. So you just drop a few hundred bones on a sweet new board, and it is your baby. You take it out for the first time, and then as soon as you get in the lift line, SCRATCH!!!! Some idiot skier plants his pole right on your tale and you have a scratch the size of the Amazon up your new board. You have to pay attention going down the hill, and in the lift lines!!!!!
