Hey. I noticed on the back left end of my mobius, there is a hole with a cap on it that says atwood. I know it has to be for some kind of pump but not sure what it is. Its not the ballast, thats a little further up on the boat, and its not the bilge, thats on the other side towards the front. I can reach my hand back behind the rear wall and feel a tube running into it. I was just wondering if anybody could tell me what this is. thanks.

I don't think this is right, but if it isn't for ballast or the bilge, maybe a fuel vent or something to do with a shower?

It may be the rear bilge pump exit - Nautiques I know have two, perhaps this boat does also.

| I'm going with a fuel vent/overflow. My Supra has the same thing.

| Thanks for the info guys. From Moomba's website, its a gas tank breather valve.

| It is for the ballast. I have a 2000 Mobius and it has two outlets for the ballast on the port side and one outlet on the starboard side.

| I guess Worm knows more about Moombas than Skier's Choice.

First, I guess Swass is there when my ballast is completely full and spills out of that hole.
Second, I guess Skiers Choice is not smart enough to separate the ballast overflow from the gas air vent.
Third, I guess Swass is known for his attention to detail and his knowledge of Moombas. I said mine was a 2000 Mobius. The one pictured in this post is a later model, as indicated by the graphics. I admit that there may be differences between the models that i didn't get the memo on.
At any rate, I guess I need to just start pouring water into the fuel tank since Swass apparently has better knowledge of my boat than me.

| My boat posted above is a 2001. There are seperate holes for ballast and gas. I just checked with Moomba, models before 2001 didn't have gas vents like that. Just clearing things up.
