Hello All,
Here is the deal….. I was just looking at a few of my lake photos from last summer because I needed a reminder of why I’m making a huge boat payment, insurance payment and storage payment for something I’m not currently using. I could be using it, but I’m not a big fan of 50 degree water.
I need some motivation, post up with your best lake photo and/or story to keep us all going through the rest of this winter. Hopefully see you on the water soon!
and a ton more at
http://www.benrud.net/pics/lake/2004_lake/just_another_weekend_6-13-04.shtml
reply with your stories and pics. I'd love to see what I missed out on and what is in my very near future!
Benrud

No pictures, but we were hitting up a pool gap with a 10 ft declined rail last weekend on the wakeskate. Some very sick riding went down.

I was wondering when I was going to get that question. I think that day we drank all the beer on the boat and that's all he could find. Wakesurfing always happens at the end of the day. I just like the pic cuz he's drinking and riding at the same time. I usually need a helmet with cans and tubes attached to pull that off!

Come on....... No one elsa has pics and stories?
OK here is a non booty pic and story...
Fell off the back of my boat and split my leg open on the out-drive. 10 stitches and many beers later I realized that Cuban cigar I was trying to save wasn't worth it!
Reply with a good story or pic!

Well i guess i got some stories, but mostly just some cool pics .
Was out riding just the other day and an iguana swam past us heh, we tried to catch it, but those things are fast. O yea, and there were girls on the boat . Enjoy....
and then the accident from august, which put me out until a couple weeks ago. Its a broken femur...

Me and my friend Lacy hooked up my longboard skateboardto the back of the golfcart. It was so fun. It made me think of my wakeboardwhich is collecting dust in my cloeset till spring.

I finally took a drysuit set….
After asking all of you to refresh my memory on why I spend all this cash on my boat, storage, insurance, etc… I decided to refresh it on my own memory in 50 Degree water on my friend Brent’s boat. We had a little boat trouble in the beginning so I was only able to take one set and I’m glad I did. It was great to strap on my board again and take header into freezing water! I rode like crap and realized that I need to get my ass back in the gym but I get a few great photos and video clips of Justin and Brent.
http://benrud.net/pics/lake/2004_lake/jan_20_05.shtml
Anyways, I’m glad I took the set, but I much prefer riding in warm water with beer and bikinis all around!

Ok, I'll play. Some friends built a slider park down on one of the bayous where they live. We have a mini kicker, A-frame, tall rail and short rail. Here are some pics of our session a few weeks ago. Everyone had a great run but me. As you can see in the photot, me and the A-frame took shots at one another the whole day. I slide the A-frame 3 times on my back, the last time is the one you see in the photo. My board hit at an angle to the up ramp and it tore off some of the surface and took some chunks out of the board. If you look closely on the photo you can see the pieces of plastic flying up. Oops. I left that trip with a bruise on my forearm, tear in my wetsuit (good, maybe I'll have to get a new one) and a slimey wood stain on the leg of my shorts. Oh yeah, and mud in my hair since I constantly seemed to land on my back in the 2ft deep water.
I'm broke and can't afford a new full body wetsuit so I have to use this one from the early 90's. Nice, huh.
Sorry for the poor photo quality, it was an ugly day and I had to slow the shutter speed on the camera.

Poor Dallas,
The girl just can't get away with a cold one without someone snapping a shot of it.
Someone posted a pic of her with a beer in her hand from last summer over on WW. The ensuing aruments about her being a role model went on for weeks.

Dallas is alive isint she ... only someone with no self worth would look to someone else as a role model .. let her be her and you be yourself no need to get all bent out of shape because she decides to enjoy a frosty cold beverage every now and then

the boat payment is the only payment I don't think twice about paying. Haven't used it since September.
One thing I am looking forward to is the boat show in a couple weeks. Sidewayz is throwing the Ho down in b-town Friday night of the Show. Red bull is kicking in some stuff and all the board shops are kickin free gear also. The showing fill in the blanks. Drink and food specials. should be nice
