Sweet. That thing looks awesome. What's the difference between that and the X-series? Looks kinda like an x10? or 30???

that not only looks sick but it has class too, it will sell easier in 10 years than a boat with a tribal graphic congrats on the new buy Very Happy

nashvillematt,
NO ballast yet! Probably will add that next year.

And and as far as choosing the maristar, one of the main reason's i did choose this boat is the lack of the graphics. I don't get into all the stickers and such. But to each is own!!!

I can't wait for summer!!!

AR_water, I own a Maristar and love it. For a little while I wanted an X-10....I am a kind of conservative type of person, so the "x" was kind of not my thing. I think I am going to start looking at a Maristar with options for my next purchase....in 2-3 years!!

I have just added about 1350lbs. of ballast to mine.....I am thinking that she will throw a lot better wake this year. Also, make sure you look into props. I added a 4 blade to mine and get a lot better response.

Nashvillematt,
Thanks for prop info, i actually have a 4 blade stainless prop on the boat. it came with the upgraded prop. By the way did I mention this baby has a 6.0L Cadillac LQ-9 in it.

AR_water, So you are the Grandaddy kickin it with the Caddy. Leather trim and Blue Blockers.....and a pimp ass ride.

I bet that thing really gets out of the water. I have a 275 hp engine and I thouight mine was doing alright. How many hp is that Caddy?

As for the prop...you are probably doing just fine. I have been looking into stainless (better for pulling with weight???) and still hunting for the right feel.

Again....I drool over this boat daily and hope someday the Mastercraft gods shine upon me. Till then....I am happy with mine!!

I actually keep it at my house in the shop. But you can usually catch me a Greers every weekend in the summer.
