I got a set of 2005 Alphas for X-mas. They are size large (I wear a size 10 shoe). I tried them on and they are fine in length but are tight at the toes. I was just wondering if the toe area will strech a little as they break in. If they strech a little they should be perfect.

Not sure how the Alphas are yet, I won't get to use them until late March.

Letsride,

I had a similar problem with a pair of Hyperlite Splits. I have a very fat foot and XL binding was tight in the toe box area. I was told to wear them in the jacuzzi to help them stretch/mold to my feet. That it really didn't help much and they were still painful. I took the next step and stretched the bindings by wedging shoe trees into the toe box area. This worked well and I always store my bindings with the shoe trees in the toe box. If I were you I would start stretching your alphas now for March.

I wear a 10.5 and had to get XL alpha's, the L's were just too small.
