Since its too freezing to skate outsideand I have no time to go to the skatepark I have decided to build a skatepark in my basement. My neighbors are moving and they have a miniramp and a couple rails. My dad bought them for my birthday!!, I set em up in my besement and WALLA!!! Instant skatepark.
This pic was taken a week ago. All the ugliness in the back is cleaned up and lookin good. _________________ dont always think im tryin ta get in ya pants |

Umm, it looks like between the couch and the breakable vases there's not too much room to skate in there.
That's cool that you have that option though, when it rains in Santa Cruz we're pretty much screwed 'cuz there's no indoor facility. Gotta sit & play Tony Hawk 'til it dries up. |

Fredrick Eisenhauer, I've had pretty good luck with them and Black label too, but I've heard stories from others, Ironically there are about 3 to 4 brands of skateboard to one factory, for example in 99 Element and Shortys and Birdhouse were all out of the same presses at the same factory, as I recall, I may be wrong on the birdhouse, I could have been blind I dont 'member _________________ TEAM PIRATE, AAAARRRGGGHHH YOU READY?

Kento, that still happens as far as I know. I rode both Habitat & DNA decks for a while & I loved 'em both. I heard those 2 brands as well as AWS are all pressed in the same factory.
Bottom line though, the best bang for your buck is a blank. Even if the thing chips or delams quick (which I've never had one do), it costs half as much as a brand name deck so you're not in the hole as much. I tell you what, when I destroy a blank it doesn't piss me off NEARLY as much as when my Birdhouse & Hook Ups decks came apart after a week. |

As of now, I'm riding a black label. I love it, I'm trying different decks to see whats the best. I'm a huge fan of blank decks but am trying other decks before I make up my mind., _________________

I think mystery and zero make the best decks. I also think flip and girl are very near the top in quality.... but me, i'm riding blanks cuz i'm poor. 60 bucks for a nice picture on the bottom.... ok well yeah theres more quality too.... but still. _________________

i usually ride blanks but other decks ive ridden are element and chocolate. i really like my choc right now its got real good pop and great feel. the element was awesome (fiberlite) for a while but after a little while it started to get lots of pressure cracks but it wouldnt snap because of the fiberglass. so basically it just dies overtime until its got no pop whatsoever but wont break. _________________

I've ridden element and it cracked after about a week of skating. My flip decks have been pretty good. Chocolate is weird I don't like there shape. CCS decks blow. Lib techs are pretty solid i like those a lot. But my best deck i've ever had was a shop deck. Its just like a name brand deck for the price of a blank with the shops logo on it. And i think it was made in the same factory Firm makes their decks. I've been skating it for a solid 3 maybe 4 months now just starting to chip away now. If you local shop has these i would say you should look in to it. _________________ www.nationsfoundation.org

Volcomizzle I am impressed. I love to see girls doing stuff you normally see a guy do. Your brothers have taught you well. Bad as* comes to mind when I see you in that pic. I'm moving to NC in a year or so from Jersey, I need alittle warmer weather so I can extend my sporting seasons. I hope to see more girls like yourself when I move. That pumps me up to see, thanks for posting it. _________________ The horror...... the horror. |
