Does anybody use or have experience with flow switches. This way, once the bag is empty, the pump (impellar type) can be controlled to automatically shut off.

No experience flow switches on ballast systems but I am a industrial water treatment tech. Flow switches can and will malfunction or stick due to debris. Might think about pressure switch. Tough call. I wonder if amp load might work?
