| Only way to know is to demo. What may be right for some slacker on here might not be right for you. |

Not saying that, saying you should demo before you shell out the dough for a board. I'm sure there are a bunch of people who love that setup, but just as sure there is a big group that would hate it.
For example 2 years ago when I was looking, I read everything I could and asked around abunch. I decided I wanted a Byerly, luckily I rented first and I hated that board. Obviously people like it and can thrash on it, but for me it didnt work.
I think the bindings are even more important to at least try on. Would you buy a shoe off the web without trying it? I know people who do, but personally I cant.
Having said all that, IMO the best beginner board that I have ridden on would be a Liquid Force EVO. |

one other thing I've found out is to see if you can get into the bindings with some ease... I had a buddys board last summer, loved it....but the bindings were so flipping hard to get into (even with some juice) i was more frustrated than pleased. _________________ Go Big or Go Home |

they sphinxs/minxes are really flexy, not alot of support, deffinately try before you buy, and as far a feminine specific boards PFFFT they just have diferent pictures, if you really want to look at a girl specific board I would step up to the eden, or the syn, with hype. or the angel from LF, and also look at mens boards in the sizes you want you may find riding handed down shapes with girly graphics may not be for you _________________ TEAM PIRATE, AAAARRRGGGHHH YOU READY?
