just picked this one up at the dealer meeting. This boat makes the other fully loaded x-star in the showroom look like an economy boat. This boat has it all , custom paint (shade shifter), custom barb wire design carpet, every alumn after market piece available, polished rims, custom trailer, Just bad @ss. You can see this boat at the miami boat show and the west palm beach boat show. Also i test drove the new x-30 and it was awesome , very impressed!!!!!

oooohhhhhh barb wire, wow. Now some cheeseball meathead, can get a boat to match his stupid armband tattoo.

Sorry, but if your going to customize it, do it tastefully. The paint is nice, I love the blue (especially the darker) but the decals are lame. Those chrome wheels look real good too while sitting in the boat launch parking lot as you're out riding. Rolling Eyes

I dont feel bad saying this becasue it looks like a dealer posted this...and it dosent belong to anyone yet.

Personally I think the design is garish and the boat is an abomination. I'd rather have the Maristar with the same hull and 'do it myself'. Batman & armaband-tattoo based graphics and all of that crap has got to go. And dubs on the trailer. Come on - are we all really that gay?

And picture trying to sell that someday. I hope you like tribal and speckle paint blue/black for a very long time - thats all. The design is about as dated as it gets. It would be similar if all 1995 Sport Nautiques came with a dreamcatcher and ying-yang / taz based design on their boats. Can I have mine done with an airbrushed T-Boz?

I wish, no, pray! that both MasterCraft and Correct Craft would get back to old design principles

Am I the only one who wonders why Mastercraft EVEN in their 80+k boats do not run carpeting up to the seats? I mean no offense to any MC owners, but am I the only one who thinks it looks tacky? I also say that the Paint is gawdy, shure it maybe in good style right now (wich it isn't IMO) but good luck selling that in 5 years... That barbed wire painting where the kickboard is SO TACKY! Hope you really love her for a very long time. Also are thoes rims really THAT much different then the stockers? It just looks like you had 'em cromed.

But honestly who gives a crap what people on the internet think... If you like it thats all that matters and more power to ya!

attracting attention and creating a product that will attract buyers are two different animals.

I am to say it wont attract buyers. that thing is a repellant and thats the least you could say. sure it'll attract attention, no doubt negative though.
and whoever buys that needs to be bloody shot for posing.
i'd be happier with a jet boat and a kneeboard.

Jessup, don't get all defensive man. It's all good, apparently a majority of the people in this thread don't much care for it. It might impress some new buyers, you never know... The fact that its a demo also means that it will usually be SOLD at the end of the season.

I wasn't trying to attack MC or anything but I just think it looks cheap to not carpet the sides of the seats or the kickpanel. Just about every other manufacuter does it. Just my oppinion, not at all trying to put down your boat.

We have as much right to say that we dislike it as you do to defend it. Personally I'm not really all that crazy about the "pickle fork/trihull" design anyhow.

look around, big guy. you are the only one (other than the dealer that picked up the boat) that is defending that boat. remember that people are usually generally pretty good at complimenting people's boats when they post pics of them. this time? not so many compliments.

buuuuuut i guess i'll leave it at that since someone's mommy and daddy own an x-star, and someone has a mastercraft avatar. its just...pointless.

i always did like everybodys opinion, There is no stickers on the boat. the carpet does not go all the way to the seats because it is snap out carpet and snap out is the best to have if your in salt water areas which we are. some of the other things on this boat are billet alumn pump out holes, alumn speaker grills. And yes we are a dealer. This boat isnt for the guy who wants to blend. I could post all the new boats with the same color schemes but i'll leave that to everybody else, You will see plenty of those.

From what I've heard about this boat, the pictures don't do it justice (if this is THE one that was at the dealer meeting).

Call me crazy, but I think it's kinda cool. But heard some crazy figure$ on it.

I think it looks kind of cool. A lot of wasted money but it does get your attention.

All you guys that say it sucks, would you turn down a day of riding behind that thing? Rolling Eyes I could be wrong but I don't think any of you would. That boat would get the more Taco Bell Chalupa on the lake than anyone else. Shocked Twisted Evil Laughing

Holy Crap...... seems to me that you all need to relax a bit. It was a pic to show something different and everyone flips out cuz it is not just the normal paintjob and carpet. Like you have never seen chrome wheels on a trailer before..... and who cares if the whole damn boat is chrome it isnt yours. and you are lying to yourself if you say that you wouldnt get closer to the display if you saw that boat sitting up for all to see.... which is what they want.

i like the boat. get so tired of seeing the same paint scheme glad to see something different. I cant afford a boat like that but i sure would not turn down a ride..

Exactly the point my friend - it might as well be!

In 10 years we will all be saying, man the batman logos CC and MC used to use are really dated. By they they'll probably have some kind of space-themed logo at the rate they're going.

Almost 20 years later I still don't think the Old Ski Nautique or even the 90's era Master Crafts and Correct Craft boats look 'dated'.

Does anyone else see a trend here? MC seems to be incorporating many of the same design elements and are represented on "custom" performance boats. Look at the graphics, powder coated and billeted aluminum and yes the bob wire. Then take a look at the pictures below. Not saying this is necessarially good or bad. I do know the "custom" boat builders continue push the limits in the same direction MC seems to be headed.

Nice Boat. I would drop the barb wire but definitely a cool paint scheme other than that I am sure it will attract attention and bet it would look great on the water.

Eric you say that X-star is an abomination and then you come up with the ugliest looking SANTE I've ever seen? I don't get it.

There are a couple of things I don't like, and some that I do. The Paint job looks amazing, lose the barb wire stickers in the I'm an idiot pit and trailer though.

Boat show demo boats, are suppose to be flashy, that's the whole point, either you like them or you don't. It will grab your attention and if that boat was sitting next to that plain white SANTE with the TAZ on it which boat is going to get more attention? NO contest

Great looking boat!!!

Remove the barbed wire and the x star logo and I think it'd look ok. Little too flashy for me, but it would be easier to look at for me.

the SAN was a joke. he was mocking how trendy the boat is and how dated and bad it will look 5 years from now. I think that photo is hilarious, he hit the nail on the head. The same goes for all of the flames and tribal designs that are being used right now as well. They'll all be looking bad 5 years down the road
