Anybody know of a good music editing program? I want one where i can take the vocals off of the beat, but can mix vocals from one song w/ another as well.

Are you trying to do this off a cd? If you are, It can't be done. CD's are mixed down into 2 tracks Right and Left. If that is not what you are trying to do then there is a program called ProTools. It is pretty much an industry standard for audio mixing. Very expensive and I don't know if it is offered on PC. I think it is,but not sure.

Brinks is right. You will need to find the a capella (lyrcis only) recordings and then mix it with your music.

So, can it be done if you have Protools? Seperate the vocal track off a cd?

Adobe Audition has an option for that so it could be done. But the problem is it only takes a certain frequency so your song sound weird and it doesnt get all the words.
