So the local law enforcement warned me this week that my registration letters weren't spaced correctly, so I have to take them off and reapply new letters.

So I figure I'll have them made and pre-spaced for me. Anyone have any cool letters, or know someplace online where they got some good looking registration letters?

Don't know any place like that but I do have a caution for you.

Check the boating lows before getting new letters.

Many times, script, shadowed or other 'cool' stickers don't meet the approved guidelines for boat registration display.

Colorado is actually fairly restrictive in the manual, but I haven't ever seen it enforced.

I was flipping through a friends Wakeboarding Magazine, in the back there was a company that made the "Bubble" style lettering like what some of the manufacturers are using to make the logos. I was thinking of getting some for my boat but I for got what the name was. I'll have to wait till I get over there again to look.

They did look cool and it would look like the factory put them on.

I know that doesn't help much without a company name, but its something to look for. Confused

I think it's actually the coast guard that changed the regs.

it used to be that you could have the numbers and the letters together

like:

IL1234AB

now...

it has to be spaced so it looks like:

IL 1234 AB

At least that's what a friend of mine that's in the USCGA said.

Thats them. Thanks, now I don't have to go digging through a magazine.

Thats actually not a bad price. I thought it would be much worse than that.
