Hey,
These cameras are really similar. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with both and had an opinion of which one is better? |

| I've used both. Some people say that the VX2000 picks up colors more vividly and performs better in low light - but I like the GL2. Maybe it's just because I have more experience with the Canon, but it's definitely my camera of choice - even more than the XL1 (too bulky & delicate). |

I can't comment on the VX2000, but I love my GL-2. The video looks good, its big enough that you actually have something to hold onto, yet its small enough that you don't feel like you are lugging around a cinderblock.
I have read that the VX2000 does better in low light, but all of my shots have been in well-lit areas so I can't comment on the GL-2. Also, whatever you might be filming in low light, I think you'd rather see well lit up! _________________ 1989 Supra Comp TS6M, 06 GLI for haulin'.
