|
|
I was looking into buying an mp3 player pretty soon or getting one for christmas. I was looking at the old Dell DJ mp3 players a little while ago but then came across the new ones on the dell site. They look really tight and are alot cheaper than the ipod. ($200 for a 5 gig like an ipod mini. or $250 for a 20 gig). so $50 more for 4 times the space, pretty sweet. I was just wondering if anyone has one of the new ones or has an opinion on them. _________________

| pay 20 dollars more and you get an ipod. You are a student, you can get a student discount on the apple website. |

| i dunno thosedell players look a lot like the ipods and have a lot of the same functions. everyone is just hungup on the ipod because they are so popular. im in between the dj and the ipod, but the dj seems like more bang for your buck. |

cwaker4, all the mp3 players will come with software that you use to transfer files to and from your player. _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com

cwaker4, i havent used the dell dj. i like the ipod mini, but i think the rio carbon is all around a better player if youre looking for a 4 or 5 gig unit. _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com

I've got a 15Gb Dell from last year that I bought on Ebay for $185. And it works great and I've got no complaints about it.
I've put a piece of velcro on the back of it and a piece on my dash of my boat and use that instead of a radio.
I've got close to 1,800 songs on there and it's only 1/2 full using MP3's at 128 or 192kbps size.
You use a typical USB cable to connect (similar to ones used for digital cameras).
Go with the Dell and save some money to fill it up with music. _________________ So, I've got that goin' for me...which is nice! |
