How Much Video can you place an your timeline

I'm adding raw video off my minidv camera and I can only add about 2 tapes on the timeline, is there a limitation to the amount of video I can add.

I can add about 2 tapes and when I go to add the third tape it will not allow me to place that video under vid1 on the time line ????

Help please.....

oh I'm using premiere 6.5

Yes, the timeline can only support 3 hours.

Are you really making a 3 hour video? Put all your clips in the bin. View, trim them, and then place them on the timeline.
