I don't think I could deal with not beeing able to see what song I was about to listen to... I'd buy a Rio or any other brand MP3 player for $100 before I bought an Ipod with no display screen...

I think there is supposed to be an interface that comes with it... the article mentioned that, probably uses the firewire connection. I don't seem selling that without one

yah i dont think that they will make it so u cannot see the tracks and stuff...and if they do..they are just doing it so they can come out with a NEW one that has a display...damn marketing.

have you guys seen/heard about the new Olympus M:robe mp3 players coming out in 2005? they look really sweet. one is a 20 gig that has a camera on the back and a large display screen which runs for about $500 US. the other is black and red with a tight entire touch sensor front buttons. its a 5 gig and around $250 US.

I saw it at the Apple store they have on their campus in cupertino. The screen real estate is just incredible. I opened up Final Cut and arranged it to how I work and it still only took up a 1/3rd of the screen. Without doing the math I'd venture to guess it's got more pixels than 2 20" units. I didn't need to see this! Kiss some more $ goodbye! Smile

oh the new 30 is AMAZING....if you ran dual it would be,......dare i say,.......to much?.......
