Has anyone ever use this camcorder. its panasonic 3ccd 1/4" camcorder, and it is going for around $1200 on ebay with a decent package of stuff. Let me know ur input about it, and how it works for wakeboarding footage. What i like best, is that it will fit my epic case which i have for my optura 10.

looks like a nice camera - I have the PV-GS120 and I love it although this is pretty much the same camera with optical image stabilization and some additional features. Seems like it would be a good deal.

Well its not exactly the same, your camera is 3ccd but each one is 1/6inch, while the GS400 is 3ccd with each ccd being 1/4inch. This camera is suppose to be on the level of the GL2 ... and such. Anyone ever filmed with it?

I use that cam and love it! Especially if you like having alot of manual control. Video quality is great, I think it may even be superior to my old TRV950 Sony. It has a great feel in your hands. The only thing I wish it did was while shooting in wide screen mode (16:9), it stretches the image on the screen instead of inserting black bars. When played back on a TV or through your computer, it stretches back out to wide screen anamorphically. For $1200 it's a killer cam!
