Congrats Joe!!! You are going to have a lot of fun with that toy! Don't forget you can also use this in the snow, if you don't mind lugging it around. It's great for those days with really deep powder or if it's snowing. Keeps the camera nice and dry.

Couple of tips:
1) Before you even put your camera in the housing and head out the lake. Run a test in your bath tub to make sure it doesn't leak (without the camera inside!)

2) Don't store the housing closed (like you have it in the pic). This will compress the o-ring over time.

3) Always put anit-fog on the inside of the lens and the lcd display of the housing before each use.

4) Check the o-ring before ever use to make sure you don't have any sand or other junk on the o-ring. And... also make sure to hit the o-ring with silicone lube once in a while.

Looking forward to seeing that tube footage!

Have fun with it... I'm jealous, I want to make some wakeboarding videos real bad... But no toys to make them with...

Be sure to keep safe by keeping it off of that Section 8 carpet.

Good luck.

i have no idea! i got mine from a private party. (thanks WakeboardNebraska!)

DC, thanks for the tips!

justsomeguy, nice comment. Rolling Eyes i'll have you know, the owners of the "section 8" carpet are loaded. one's a phd in math and the other's a physical therapist. they just would rather spend their money on themselves, trips/vacations, and their kids.

Maybe they can stay at a Holiday Inn instead of a Marriott next time and insure that their kids are playing on carpet that is not a biohazard zone.

Whoops!

Someone else missed the joke!

Oh well, sometimes EVEN PHDs, can be incredibly clueless and miss context-based humor.

Nice net-copping though (you know how to use the search button here, you can check properties of photos, etc.)I guess my comments really bothered you, eh?

Maybe you should spend some time contemplating why you were so upset by the comment about your Section 8 carpet rather than playing Inspector Clouseau...

Ok, so you have some PM buddy/wannabe detective/defender of Section 8 carpet who is clueless and you just bought into it. and reposted his silliness

Got it.

so, because some dude(s) knows about your antics on the boards, he's a "wannabe detective"? have you once considered that it's possible that this person(s) posts not only here, but on mtbr.com as well?

so, because another person(s) thought your comment was unwarranted, he's clueless?

No, he's clueless because he typed this:

"They are considering making him his own forum because, while they like his videos, they think they may need to shield everyone from the negativity caused by his delusions of grandeur."

Again, your clueless wannabe Clouseau/PM buddy completely missed the context and made a hilarious assumption, like a few other confused folks.

But the important thing is that the hideous carpet is not endangering any innocent children.

So all is well in the world, at least as far a Section 8 carpet and Wkaeworld is concerned.
